Gypsy Gala: 2005 Special Event
    [2 of 2]

A festive evening with live entertainment, fine dining and a Silent Auction, all in support of SFMS programming.

The Parade of the Hedgehog Cakes

Left: the Parade of the Hedgehog Cakes, created in honor of the delicacy most enjoyed by gypsies around the world.

Guests enjoyed Hungarian mushroom soup, chicken and vegetarian Paprikásh, salad and herbed flatbread.

The Gadjo Playboys entertained with hot gypsy jazz. And with a little urging from Cocina Flamenca, Jess Hayden and Bart Carpenter tried a bit of Flamenco dancing themselves.

John Hayden and Bruce Bishoff accepted Volunteer Appreciation Awards, created by master papercutter Marcia Egan.
