Darol Anger & Bruce Molsky
The Susquehanna Folk concert with acclaimed fiddlers Darol Anger and Bruce Molsky was recorded live, with permission, by the Steam Powered Preservation Society. This concert was presented at the Yorktowne Hotel in downtown York, PA on Sunday, April 19, 2009.
The show is divided into songs so the tracks show up when you burn a CD. To listen to the entire show uninterrupted, you can do one of two things:
(1) download each song and play them on your computer using something like Foobar2000
(2) download each song and burn a CD
The show is available in two formats: FLAC and mp3. FLAC is a lossless compression file that once unFLACed yields a .wav file suitable for CDs. mp3s are generally played on an ipod or computer. Access to both file types can be found at the Steam Powered Preservation Society's website (link above).
The SPPS is a non-profit organization that archives, saves, researches and shares historic Americana recordings. The goal is to promote music through the appreciation of its history and sounds.
