Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem

With support from Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Appell, Jr.

A part of our Martin Library series, presented in cooperation with Martin Library.

Made possible in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.

Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem hit the stage at Martin Library, performing songs from their new family CD Ranky Tanky. This will be a super-fun show, and very likely to fill up, so register early! (Even though it's free, you must pre-register with the library to be sure you can get in.)

"Flower power meets front porch rock n' roll... proves that kids' music can be simultaneously loose and tight... I fell in love from the first note of the CD." — Out With The Kids (OWTK.com)

"This is the soundtrack to summer." — MrsMamasMonsters.blogspot.com

"If I could hang that song on my refrigerator, I would." — Mindy Thomas, Absolutely Mindy, Sirius Kids' Radio (talking about "Sing Out")

"This is not a kids album. It's too good to simply consign to the kids' rack. Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem have a new album that will appeal to the kid in all of us. The kid who likes to sing, and dance and roll around on the floor. The band has obviously scoured their record collections to find songs that have a positive message, and a perfect vibe. So they channel and reconfigure Cat Stevens, John Gorka, Sheb Wooley (Purple People Eater) and a bunch of traditional songs, seeking that ultimate goal — to get us shaking our fannies while we celebrate life." — Ed McKeon, Middletown Eye

Two Shows: 11 am and 1 pm
