Capital 10 Miler logo

We are looking for folks to join TEAM SUSQUEHANNA FOLK for a 10 mile run/walk to benefit the arts, to be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Harrisburg, PA.

The Capital 10 Miler will start on Harrisburg's City Island, continue along the riverfront, go through sections of the Capital Greenbelt and over the city's bridges. The race is organized by Open Stage.

Aside from Susquehanna Folk, runners representing Harrisburg Symphony, Market Square Concert Series, Theater Harrisburg, Gamut Theater, the Whitaker Center, and the Susquehanna Art Museum will also be participating in the Capital 10 Miler.

Jess runs the Harrisburg Half-Marathon, October 2011. Check out Jess's Folkmama blog to find out why running a marathon isn't so different from running an active folk music organization.

Support the Arts

There are many ways to support the arts through this event. Sponsor a runner/walker, donate directly to participating organizations, or join the race and ask others to sponsor you! Watch this page for more details to come.
