Volunteer Celebration

Potluck, Performance, Prizes, Presentation

Thursday, September 23, 2010
6:00 pm at Fort Hunter

And it’s one, two, three, hey!
Help them put the chairs away.
If it wasn’t for them,
we wouldn’t be here.
Let’s hear it for the volunteers.

Volunteer Event

We3 presents music styles from roots, folk, country, blues, along with 50s, 60s and 70s favorites. The band consists of Russ Matthews on guitar, banjo, autoharp, harmonica and vocals; Paulette Matthews on bass, violin and vocals; and Lindy Mack on keyboards and vocals.

Because of their excellent playing and amusing stage presence, We3 are frequent performers on the Susquehanna Folk stage. They were invited to perform for this event because two of the three band members, Russ and Paulette, are also active volunteers with Susquehanna Folk.

We'd like to invite SFMS volunteers — as well as those interested in learning more about volunteering! — to a potluck celebration featuring a performance by the band We3.

  • short presentation on Susquehanna Folk volunteer opportunities
  • performance by We3
  • certificates awarded to honor current SFMS volunteers
  • door prizes throughout the evening
  • please bring a potluck dish to share — drinks, paper goods and dessert provided
