Pat and the Cats
Saturday, 3-4pm
"Pat & the Cats" is a three piece band comprised of vocalist/guitar player Pat Panther, bass player Blaine Weisser, and drummer Tom Dawes. They play a variety of blues and roots music. Pat has been playing finger-pick style acoustic guitar and singing folk and country blues for the past forty years. She is also a member of the Deep Run String Band.
Waitin' on a Train
Sunday, 3-4pm
From South Central PA: "... Waitin' on a Train plays acoustic Appalachian folk-and-bluegrass-inspired music with a modern rock-and-punk-influenced rhythm and vocal delivery. Their debut album, 2006's In the Path of Pain, featured entirely original material, though they play with an assured mastery of the idioms they're modernizing" -- Richie Unterberger, AllMusicGuide.com
