Come out for an evening of live local acoustic music, presented jointly by Songside.com, SFMS and UUCY. Our open mic features short sets from a variety of local acts. Come out to listen, or get there early and sign up to perform! If you can't make it to the show, check out the live stream at SongSide.com

Open Mic Guidelines

  • Registration begins approximately 30 minutes before Open Mic starts. (7:30pm for the 8pm start time)
  • Each act will be allowed 10 minutes. (2 or 3 tunes within 10 minutes).
  • This is an acoustic open mic. Other than percussion instruments and small hand drums that can be easily carried on and off stage, full drum sets are not permitted.
  • Instrument amps are not permitted. Electrified bass and/or guitar are permitted but must be plugged directly into the PA system. DI boxes are provided.
  • Musicians must have their instruments tuned and ready to play prior to taking the stage.
  • We appreciate cooperation in helping with quick change-overs as we stream video of the performances LIVE to the web on www.songside.com.
