Over the past 20 years, Susquehanna Folk has gathered a loyal following of members, concert-goers, workshop attendees and performers. SFMS is known for the diversity and excellence of its programming, and for the passion of its board members.
Concerts, Dancing and more
Every year, from September through June, Susquehanna Folk presents dozens of events for the cultural enrichment of South Central Pennsylvania. We present artists from around the globe as well as hometown performers. Many of our events have a "hands-on" component that strengthens the connections between music and folks. In addition, SFMS brings folk culture into local schools each year through Arts and Education residencies.
Hands-On Music
Susquehanna Folk presents Coffeehouses, monthly Jam Sessions, Workshops with master performers, and many other events to bring folk music off the stage and into people's hands.
