SFMS Newsletter

Central Pennsylvania Traditions is the bimonthly newsletter of the Susquehanna Folk Music Society. It is published online and announced on our e-nouncements mailing list. Printed copies of the newsletter are available at our events.

Articles and News Items

Our newsletter contains a wealth of information, not only about SFMS events, but also about other folk happenings in and around the region. Articles and news items may be submitted directly to our Newsletter Editor, Lauri Brandenburg (see Contacts section below). Articles are printed on a space-available basis and may be edited for length. Be sure to check newsletter deadlines below.

Advertisements

Thanks for asking! SFMS offers paid advertising in our newsletter as well as in our Concert Series programme book. We regularly trade advertising space with other folk organizations. Central Pennsylvania Traditions reaches over 350 individuals, public spaces and businesses, an audience which has shown an appreciation of folk music, folk dance, and traditional folk art.

Publishing Schedule

Central Pennsylvania Traditions is published bimonthly from September through May — which inevitably means that issues are published well in advance! If this long lead-time precludes having your event listed in our newsletter, a brief description can appear in our online Regional Calendar or on our Bulletin Board.
