Sun, September 20 - Irish Sessions with Seamus Carmichael
The most authentic Irish music isn't on a recording or on a concert stage — it's a group of folks playing together! Local Irish singer and session organizer Seamus Carmichael will talk about how a traditional Irish session (musical gathering) works, how to find one near you, and how to politely participate. Sun, October 4 - Storyteller Bil Lepp
Bil is a nationally-renowned storyteller and five-time champion of the West Virginia Liars Contest, and has been called "the Wonder Bra of storytelling." Sat, October 17 - Jay Ungar & Molly Mason
Folk icons Jay Ungar and Molly Mason join us for a lovely day of live music, from upstate New York direct to your home! In the afternoon they'll teach fiddle and guitar; in the evening we'll enjoy a concert and a conversation with SFMS Board member Autumn Moore. Susquehanna Folk Keeps the Music Coming with a variety of online events featuring both up-and-coming local musicians and internationally acclaimed touring acts.
