Called “...the Irish equivalent of Emmylou Harris” (Washington Post), Karan Casey is an incomparable singer of everything from traditional Irish ballads to jazz and blues. In addition to her solo career, she has worked with artists ranging from Solas and Lúnasa to the Boston Pops Orchestra to James Taylor and Tim O’Brien. TEAM SUSQUEHANNA FOLK is "Running for the Arts" in the Capital 10‑Miler, and we need your support! This race benefits many local arts organizations including SFMS. Our goal is to raise $1000 to fund future programming. Sponsor our run, or come out to cheer us on.

We start off with classic rock, folk, country & blues from the Joe Cooney Duo, followed by the emotive original songs of Michael Arthur. After a brief intermission, The Chestnuts cover great old artists from the 40s to the 80s, and Nothin’ Ta Plunder wraps up the evening with classic rock, blues and 60s music, plus a few country and original numbers.
