for the Susquehanna Folk Festival

The festival will be held at the York Expo Center (334 Carlisle Ave, York, PA), convenient to Harrisburg, Baltimore, Lancaster and Gettysburg.

Festival Map

We will be outdoors and indoors on the eastern end of the grounds, around the Old Main building and the Pennsylvania Room / Verandah Room building.

Festival guests enter using Gate 9 on Carlisle Avenue, and park in the infield. A footbridge leads from parking to the festival gate. On arrival, the Main Stage is to the left, on the grassy triangle adjacent to Carlisle Ave, and Food Trucks are ahead. Clockwise from the Main Stage, the Old Main building contains the Dance Hall (north half) and the Mercantile & Marketplace area (south half). South of the Mercantile door is the Pickin' Place tent. The next building houses the Verandah Room, which contains the New Roots stage, and the Pennsylvania Room, which contains the Coffeehouse stage (north half) and the Young Folks Zone (south half).

Driving Directions


FROM HARRISBURG, take I-83 south toward York (about 20 miles). Split off onto I-83 Business (George St) at exit 22, and turn right onto US-30 West. After about 4 miles, take the exit to PA-74 South / Carlisle Ave. Stay on Carlisle Ave! In less than a mile, the Expo Center will be on your right. The trip is about 45 minutes from midtown.

FROM BALTIMORE, take I-83 north toward York (about 50 miles). Split off onto I-83 Business (George St) at exit 15, and after about 2 miles, turn left onto Country Club Rd. After 1 mile, turn right onto Richland Ave, which bends to the right and becomes Linden Ave. Turn Left onto Carlisle Ave and watch for the Expo Center on your left. The trip is about an hour from Towson.

FROM LANCASTER OR GETTYSBURG, take US-30 to the exit for PA-74 South / Carlisle Ave. Watch for the Expo Center on your right. Stay on Carlisle Ave! The trip is less than an hour from either place.
