COVID Precautions
COVID policy for the festival will be determined in early August. While we all hope that summer brings an end to COVID protocols, SFMS is committed to creating a festival that is as safe as possible for visitors, volunteers and artists. Advance ticket purchasers will be notified of policy updates, and the policy will be posted here.
Kids and Families WELCOME!
Youth 16 and under attend FREE. With a full schedule of hands-on activities and kid-friendly performers, we aim to be one of the most family-friendly festivals you will ever come to. Be sure to check out our Young Folks' Zone.
Accessibility
The Expo Center is fully accessible for folks with mobility challenges. We are happy to help everyone enjoy all the festival offers. For questions and special accommodations, please contact us, in advance if possible.
Seating & Stages
All of our stages and seating are either under tents or indoors. Folding chairs are set up at all of our stages: first-come, first-seated. Please be fair to others and do not save seats while you're elsewhere at the festival.
You may set up your own chair, picnic blanket or canopy as long as it doesn't interfere with others' enjoyment of the festival.
RAIN OR SHINE! Dress for the weather!
Refreshments
A variety of food trucks will be on hand, and they'll appreciate your business. Yes, you can bring a cooler, but no alcohol or glass containers. Alcoholic beverages will be sold in two locations at the festival and must be kept in those areas.
Secure Instrument Check
Come to the Mercantile area to securely store instruments, chairs, coolers and other bulky belongings while you're at the festival, or even overnight.
Lost & Found
The Mercantile crew keeps up with Lost & Found. Items left behind after the festival will be donated to local charities.
Medical Assistance
EMTs will be available onsite. In case of emergency, see a volunteer (look for vests).
