We aim to be one of the most family-friendly festivals you will ever attend. And young folks 16 and under attend FREE! (when accompanied by a grownup)

Programming created especially for children is at our Young Folks Zone, open all day Saturday and Sunday. While young folks enjoy hands-on, kid-focused activities, their grown folks can listen in on the great live music at the Coffeehouse Stage in the same building.

The entire festival is fun for families, and our schedule identifies performers and events that are particularly kid-friendly. In past festivals, activities have included sing-alongs, play-alongs, limberjacks, instrument try-it's, all-ages dancing, jugglers, larger-than-life puppets, a balance playground and family parades.

We appreciate York County Libraries and other sponsors for supporting family-oriented programming at the Susquehanna Folk Festival.
