Greg Brown

This renowned musician, songwriter and storyteller from Iowa has a style that embraces elements of gospel, blues, country, rock and jazz. He has been a touring musician for some thirty years. "He moves audiences with warmth, humor, a thundering voice and his unpretentious musical vision." During the 198Os, his reputation was established through frequent touring and recurring performances on A Prairie Home Companion. He's also the founder of Red House Records, an independent record label specializing in folk music, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, and husband of folk singer Iris DeMent.

...with Garnet Rogers

Legendary songwriter and folk performer Garnet Rogers will play an opening set. Sing Out! magazine says: "Garnet Rogers may be the greatest male interpreter and vocalist performing in the contemporary folk scene... a first rate writer...musical integrity and powerful performance..."

...and Bo Ramsey

Fellow Iowan Bo Ramsey has been collaborating with Greg Brown since the late 1980s. A member of the Iowa Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame, he has played a vital role in shaping Eastern Iowa's distinctive blues-rock hybrid. Bo has played guitar on ten of Brown's discs and produced eight of them.
