SFMS is pleased to present a three-week class introducing dances from Central Europe.

Zita Angelo

SFMS is pleased to present a three-week class introducing dances from Central Europe. Lancaster-based Zita Angelo will present dances from Hungary, Poland, and other countries of Central Europe. These are primarily line and circle dances (no partners necessary).

The class is introductory level. No prior exposure to Central European dance is required, but students should have basic experience in rhythm and movement. All are welcome.

Sunday Evenings

Wear soft-soled shoes and comfortable clothing.

More about Zita Angelo

As director of World Dance Lancaster, Zita holds classes on Mondays and Thursdays. Her emphasis is currently on promoting World Dance as a fun, healthy, and cultural activity for people of all ages. Having directed the performing group "Interfolk" for 20 years, she provides occasional performances under the name "Szivem", which means "My Heart" in Hungarian. Zita encourages you to "Discover your inner gypsy!"
