Lancaster County Central Park
Lancaster County Central Park is just southeast of Lancaster, PA. These directions take you to the entrance at South Duke Street and Rockford Road (17602).
From the East: Take Route 30 West to Route 462 West (east of Lancaster). Continue 2 miles to the intersection of the Bridgeport area (Weis Market on the left, Turkey Hill on the right). Turn left at the light onto Lampeter Road (to the right it's called Pitney Road) and travel 1.1 miles. Turn right at the light onto Millport Road and continue for 1 mile, then turn left on Rockford Road to enter the park (just before the small concrete bridge).
From the West (Harrisburg area): Take Route 283 East to Route 30 East (north of Lancaster), to Route 501 South (Lititz Pike). Cross the railroad bridge, (stay in the left lane), turn right, then left onto Duke St. Follow Duke Street south all the way through town. After the 5-way intersection, Duke will become 2-way. Continue on Duke, past the light at Chesapeake St. and past the cemetary. After you cross the small concrete bridge, turn right on Rockford Road to enter the park.
From the South: Take Route 222 to the Willow Street area. Just east of Kendig Square shopping center, turn north onto Eshelman Mill Road (heading south it's called Peach Bottom Rd). Follow as it twists and turns (tight turns!), until the road comes to a tee at Millport Road. Turn left onto Millport Road (which becomes South Duke Street). Go a short distance down the hill, and turn left on Rockford Road to enter the park (just before the small concrete bridge).
AFTER ENTERING THE PARK: From the intersection of South Duke Street and Rockford Road, immediately turn left through the stone pillars onto Williamson Road. Follow for 0.3 mile (twisting and turning). The pavilion is on the right; parking is on the left.
