Ladies in the Parlor

And it’s one, two, three, hey!
Help them put the chairs away.
If it wasn’t for them,
we wouldn’t be here.
Let’s hear it for the volunteers.

“Let’s Hear It For the Volunteers’

We'd like to invite all Susquehanna Folk volunteers, past and future, to a Volunteer Appreciation Celebration to be held at the Fort Hunter Centennial Barn. We'll celebrate our new season and share information about this season's volunteer opportunities, including helping out at events, preparing mailings, engaging in committee work and helping plan the SFMS inaugural folk festival to be held in July 2018!

Come and meet Susquehanna Folks who help make it all happen! Enjoy dinner, great folk music and door prizes.

LIVE MUSIC

Ladies In The Parlor is a string band that brings Old Time fiddle tunes and songs to a variety of audiences. The Ladies have appeared on various stages in the region and have played for contra dances, festivals, hoedowns, and private parties and celebrations, including weddings. Their lively playing has a special way of delighting a crowd, ensuring that everyone has a good time.

The Ladies in the Parlor are Barb Schmid, Sharon Sacks, Freya Qually, and Suzanne Gates.

FOOD

Bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share. Grilled hamburgers, veggie burgers, tableware and drinks will be provided.
